Type Specimen Poster (2017)
For this project, which was completed for my Communication Fundamentals Design class, we were required to create a type specimen poster based on a typeface we were given. I received the typeface Garamond.
I wanted to showcase the interesting letterforms of Garamond, so I chose the lowercase letter "g" because of the design of the upper and lower bowl. The wriggle from the "g" created a perfect space to put Claude Garamond that formed to the curve of the "g".
