Hunger Games Series (2017)

For this project in my Communication Design Fundamentals class, we had to choose a series and design book covers for that series. I chose the Hunger Games Series.

If I felt like I had full creative power, I would've continued with a different concept (below), but my professor encouraged me in the direction of cracks increasing with each book. This symbolizes the government structure gradually crumbling. However, I wanted to have each book to have a different graphic element, but still in the same style of the element creating the title letters. 

Here each book has its own separate element that makes up the title, arrow string, smoke from fire, and cracks.
